I have been thinking about how our lives are going to change once the little man comes. Right now, I sometimes find myself.... bored! Yeah, bored! Sean is such a hard worker and is always studying his tail end off to be a good provider for our family. But sometimes this leaves me with nothing really to do in the evenings besides watch Netflix and stare at our Excel spreadsheet aka our budget.I realized that I really love our life. It's so simple and easy and it got me thinking... why don't we try to get out more? It was more like a panic-- wow-it-will-never-be-this-easy-ever-again panic. Ya know?
And that's how our marathon date was born.
Wednesday, we doubled with my little bro and went to the Nickelcade then get some sweet Creamery ice cream.
Total cost: $10.20 (in case you were wondering)
It was a grand ol' time. Sean and I learned we'd be terrible gamblers and we have a competitive side when it comes to air hockey.

Total cost: $0 (We have ROC passes)
Friday, we headed to the Smith Fieldhouse for some women's gymnastics. It was great fun (for me at least). Those girls are just solid and I enjoyed the suspense of the flips. Quite entertaining. We headed back to the Creamery for a second round of ice cream for the week. No hating. I'm pulling the pregnancy card here.
Total cost: $4 for ice cream

It's amazing how easy getting out of the house can be and how infrequent that privilege is used. Granted, Sean and I will be trying to get out more that I have had this revelation (as long as it doesn't interfere with Sean's studying). It's been great fun running around town on any given night-- I'm so glad I have a willing hubby by my side.
**This post is a bit late. I wrote it then never put in pictures but thought it'd be a waste not to post. :)
